EID

Yesterday was a beautiful day. We had the entire family come for eid. It started early at 4am with preperations.
We had dry chicken for breakfast with puri. Lunch was Chicken Biryani, mums famous dish. Supper was Mutton Khalia, Aunt Zohra's Dry Chicken and Aunt Laila Chicken dish. We had it with loads of salad, bread and naan (fennel bread). Delicious.

Wish I had taken some pics to show something of such a lovely day but I was really having a lazy happy day. lol.

Not to forget, the loads of biscuits we all made in the week. I might still have a decent tray in place, hopefully I will post soon. lol.Also, also, also, how can I forget the amounts of cakes and desserts.
Let just say there was chocolate mousse and chocolate eclairs in one trifle. Thinking about it gives me  another cavity ache.

Well hopefully some of my cousins took some snaps which I will post soon. lol.

After 16 years - SNOW

It has been 16 years since we had such heavy snowfall. It really was a beautiful sight.

 Hubby couldnt help but get into the snow. How cute. lol.

 Cant even see the bergs so well, plasted with the white powder.

It snowed on the 7th and 8th August 2012. Sorry for late blog.

Icy Winter

Well winter is here to stay. Its been terribly cold and when you think some warm days are looming , the gust of icy wind blows it away.

My cousins from china are back and we are really happy once again. I do not have any pics, would you believe how terribly busy its been for me this year.

I have not been blogging as often but alot has happened. Some good , some bad but the hour glass waits for no man.

On a bad note, at the beginning of June hubs and I met in a terrible accident, with my in laws. It was horrific, drunk driver came head on to us while we were driving over a bridge in Johannesburg. It was 8pm and we were coming from my sister in laws flat in Pretoria. No major injuries, just we all had to be in bed for two weeks. REALLY SORE just thinking about it.

I have a few snaps of my face but I will never be bold enough to post. Hubs came out with small bump and scratch on hand, amnesia was to follow. Unfortunately I was the only one that remembered what happened. Still a bit shaky when we pass that road.

As usual duty calls and I have to leave now , blog longer next time.

MAD BUDDIES

Brilliant, Awesome and outright funny.

Leon does it again, he really thought of another brilliant story to make all South Africans come together for a good laugh.

Situated in South Africa , this movie really shows some great scenes and the locals.

A definate must watch but definate parental guidance.

I rate this movie = 9/10.

BASIC TRUTH - Leon is just brilliant.

MADAGASCAR 3

Great, Awesome, totally funny and enjoyed by entire family.

I give this movie 8/10.

Humor as always was really good and the animation was really terrific. I applaud the graphics and 3D really makes it even better.

Each character was equally funny and joyful. I loved the music and ofcos the creativity to the story.

A definate must watch for the entire family.

Ok, so its been really stressfull lately. Alot has been going on. There has been many birthdays and would you believe no photos!
So tomorrow is my hubs birthday and I am hoping to get at least one photo into the blog.
Well, one thing is for sure, he is going to have a painfull birthday. Today he has had 3 route canals done in his teeth and his numb for now. He had to have it done , next week he will be going for a small operation getting a cyst out of his jaw. The poor thing is really going through a tough time.

I hope to make his day tomorrow somewhat less sore. lol.

MEN IN BLACK III

GREAT , AWESOME, DEFINATE MUST WATCH!!!

Well, if you all watched the first two and enjoyed them, you can count on this one to be as good.

Only downfall, not much of Tommy lee in this movie.

But as usual, Will Smith out did himself. He is a superb actor and a downright brilliant comedian.
I could never sit still when he is around.

All in all, I give this movie = 9/10
