My Aunts Birthday

Yesterday was a public holiday, Human Rights Day, as well as my aunt Zohra's birthday. We really had a nice time yesterday. But we also missed my cousins in China. Its times like these we tend to feel their absence even more.

JOHN CARTER

Now this movie was good. LONG but good.

Its a very gripping movie to watch with your family. It is a bit intense for kids but hell of a lot of fun for the adult kideos.

It has Action, Thriller, Suspence and a sprinkle of Romance.

Whats interesting about this is the amount of imagination in each scene. Every scene was good.

THE ACTION!!!!! WOW.

I mean , it did look fake. But I must say it was GREATLY FAKED. Some parts really gripped me to my seat.

So basically , this is a must see!

I rate it 8/10 so thumbs up.

My Aunt brought another bundle of joy!

It's so heartwarming just to remember those little fingers and toes as I sit here right now. My Aunt Afsana , mums smallest sister of 39years just brought a new member to the family on 20 February 2012.
We only got to see him yesterday, he was so cute. This little boy really had a tough journey, he was born 1.4kg but as at yesterday , he is now 2.1kg. Slowly but surely bringing it up. lol.

Movie Review

I must honestly say that I felt slightly disappointed by the movie. Compared to the first hit, this movie really felt like a bummer!!!

The first movie was perfectly done, right down to the stunts. You enjoyed the first one because it felt like they took the time in making it look so real and heartstopping.

This second one was really too graphical. It felt like you were watching a cartoonist oozing his passion onto the screen. Sometimes its good but honestly it did not portray the initial idea of Ghost Rider.

Acting

Nicholas Cage gave his all, so I applaud him for that. The direction of this movie SUCKED, which could have made hime look bad but we know him better.

Other character played their role well enough but as I said with that type of direction , they should be applauded.

GHOST RIDER TALE

One thing that totally bugged me was the devil's character. I hated the fact that the director or writer or producer, whoever, decided to bring in a new character instead of just holding the sequel character like they should. They even went threw all the trouble of changing the initial storyline of the first movie scenes and made it look like some kind of sick joke.

People who did not watch the first one, should really watch it first, and they would see how stupid it was to change the entire concept of the movie.

But ofcos the thrill of watching Nicholas Cage blow up in flames was priceless. lol.

I give this movie a 6-10. When you have nothing to do , watch this movie.



SAFE HOUSE - The movie



Awesome, Spectacular and damn right Good! This is just some of the words that came out of the cinema as I walked out.

My impression= Well what can I say to describe a movie like this?!

It was a good movie, really gripping storyline. Keeps you wondering and makes you jump a few times with the effects.

Downside= Movie was based in Cape Town, South Africa, my country. So I can say for a fact that it did not do justice to the beauty of the country but I do applaud them in going to places that most of us would not go in my own country. I am talking about the rural sectors where most of the people are too afraid of being mugged and killed. They pulled it off- WELL DONE!!!

Acting = Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! Denzel and Ryan were too good. Denzel was ofcos on his peak performance but Ryan .......................................he showed us his true potential!!! He was awesome. His acting was unquestionably good and if he does not receive an award, the grammy's, oscar whatever is totally rigged!

Definate must see!!! I give thumbs up!
