With everything going on last week and the bitter pain of remembering the negative details, I had completely forgotton the fairytale ending of at least one fight!
Making up for all the terrible things said came easy for both of us, surprisingly. It only took the simple words "I AM SORRY" and the past remained where it belonged.
We decided to let work give us a one day break on saturday and he took me out to Pietermaritzburg Liberty Mall. Its one hour away from home and blessing drive.
The mall was packed, normally that would have gotton me chlostrophobic, but he held my hand the entire day. We went for a movie, Hang Over 2, disgustingly hilarious. He took me to the most heavenly store and it felt like the cherry on the top, CNA. It was delightful to be surrounded by books. I chose all the puzzle books that was out for the month and ofcos he chose his car magazines. For the first time I was content.
The day was perfect. He was perfect.
